Digital legacy, in your own voice

Leave the people you love more than photographs.

Sixty seconds of your voice a day becomes a private record of who you are. With Echo, it becomes a voice your family can keep — your stories, in words you actually said.

Hear it

This is what a voice legacy sounds like.

A real 72-second entry from Phi's founder. Not an actor, not a script — the kind of recording your Echo is built from.

You invoke compounding and iterative effort as your go-to framework when feeling stuck.

“compounding effort over time is the rule and the mantra here so I feel like I just gotta keep going”

For the people who love you

A digital legacy your family can actually hear.

Photos show what you looked like. Your voice shows who you are.

Your real voice

Echo is being built to answer in your voice, not a stranger's.

Your own words

Every answer points back to a dated recording. No invented memories. Ask about something you never talked about and it says so.

Kept for them

A digital legacy the people you love can keep.

Echo is in build.

How Echo works

  1. Record sixty seconds

    Live now

Sixty seconds, for you. Phi shows you what you keep coming back to, with the dates you said it.

  2. Your Echo takes shape

    In build

Your recordings will help build your Echo. You talk to it first, and correct it, before anyone else can.

  3. Share it with who you choose

    In build

Give someone their own key with a QR code inside Phi. They open it there. Nobody else can.

Continuity

Your voice, your stories, kept for the people you love.

Continuity for the people you love: your voice, in words you actually said, that they can keep.

Built on consent, from the first recording.

Adults only

Echo is 18+.

Signed consent

You sign consent before any Echo is made, and a copy is emailed to you.

Only your own voice

An Echo uses your voice and nobody else's.

You choose who

Each person you choose gets their own key.

Questions families ask

What is Echo?

Echo is a feature in build for Phi Journal. It learns to answer in your voice from things you recorded, and shows the date you said them.

Can I talk to my past self?

Today, Phi lets you ask about your own past. Echo is in build, and you'll talk to it first and correct it before anyone else can.

Can I leave my voice for my family?

That's what Echo is being built for. Each person you choose gets their own key and opens it inside Phi. Nobody else can.

Is Echo an AI clone of me?

It's closer to a digital twin of what you've said. Every answer points back to a dated recording, and if you never talked about something, it says so.

Can I make an Echo of someone else?

No. Echo is 18+ and uses your own voice, with signed consent.

Is Echo available now?

Not yet. Recording is live on iOS, and your recordings will help build your Echo. Join the waitlist to hear when it's ready.
